Threat Intelligence CAP Feeds

📍 To access the CAP Feeds, go to: More > Integrations > CAP Feeds

Overview

Threat Intelligence CAP Feeds allow you to manage the sources used for threat monitoring on the interactive map. You can enable or disable preloaded default feeds or add your own custom CAP feeds to track specific threat information. Enabled feeds become available when setting up Monitoring Rules, while disabled feeds are hidden from configuration options but remain stored in the system. This flexibility ensures you can customize your threat monitoring sources to fit your organization's needs.

Default Feeds

You can enable or disable the default CAP feeds used to monitor threats on the interactive Threat Intelligence map.

  • If a default feed is enabled, it will be available to select when configuring a Monitoring Rule.
  • If a default feed is disabled, it will not appear as an option during Monitoring Rule setup.

The following CAP feeds are preloaded and available to use:

  • FEMA Integrated Public Alert & Warning System (IPAWS)
  • National Weather Service (NWS)
  • Canadian Weather Feed

🛡️ Note: Default feeds are preloaded into the platform and do not require additional configuration beyond enabling or disabling them.

Custom Feeds

You can add Custom Feeds to monitor threats on the Threat Intelligence map.

To add a custom feed:

  • Name the CAP feed.
  • Insert the URL for the CAP feed.
    • The URL must point to a valid syndicated CAP feed to be accepted.
  • If the feed requires basic authentication, enter the Username and Password.

After adding a custom feed:

  • The feed will be available for selection when configuring a Monitoring Rule under Threat Intelligence.
  • You can enable or disable each custom feed:
    • If enabled, the feed will appear under Threat Intelligence.
    • If disabled, the feed will not be available for configuration but will remain saved in the system for future use.

🛡️ Note: You can manage Custom Feed settings at any time by editing or disabling them without losing the feed information.
