Purchase Credits

Credit Overview
Credits are used for two primary features in RedFlag:
- International Messaging (text messages and voice calls to non-U.S. numbers)
- Chats (text messages sent or received via the Chat feature)
Each international message or voice call, and each chat message, consumes a specific number of credits. The number of credits used varies depending on the destination country and message type.
Credits are purchased in bundles and are automatically deducted as messages are sent or calls are made.

Contract Credits
Your RedFlag location is assigned a set number of credits based on your contract. Credits are deducted from your balance as international or chat messages are sent.
- On your renewal date, your credit balance resets to your contract's included amount.
- If you run low, additional credits can be purchased at any time.
- Purchased credits do not expire and will carry over after renewal.
Purchase Credits
You will be notified when your credit balance is low:
- If your balance falls below 20% of your original contract credits, or
- If your total credits drop to 500 or fewer
A pop-up notification will display when logging into the platform. You can either dismiss the notice or proceed to purchase more credits.
Credit Purchase Options
You can purchase credits in the following bundles:
- 25,000 credits
- 50,000 credits
- 100,000 credits
- 175,000 credits
- 250,000 credits
- 500,000 credits
Once purchased, credits are added to your account immediately, and an invoice will be sent to your designated billing contact or Accounts Payable.
Unused Purchased Credits
Purchased credits do not expire at renewal.
- Example:
If your contract includes 10,000 credits, and you had 1,000 remaining from the previous term, and you also purchased 50,000 credits, your new balance after renewal would be:
10,000 (new contract) + 50,000 (purchased) = 60,000 credits
Negative Credit Balance
If your location continues to send international or chat messages after dismissing low-credit warnings, and your credit balance goes negative, RedFlag will not stop message delivery.
However, there will be a penalty charge to return your balance to zero.
🛡️ Note: If credits cost $0.01 each, and your balance is -500, it will cost $10.00 (2x the deficit) to restore your balance to 0.
