RedFlag integrates with a variety of systems to streamline recipient management, automate message delivery, and extend platform functionality. These integrations help you maintain accurate data, trigger messages from external systems, and enhance real-time situational awareness.

Data Connector

The Data Connector is RedFlag’s modern HRIS integration framework. It allows organizations to connect to supported HRIS systems without requiring custom development.

Key Benefits:

• Supports connections to multiple HRIS providers per location
• Allows connection to multiple tenants of the same HRIS provider (e.g., multiple Microsoft tenants)
• Near real-time or scheduled syncs depending on the HRIS provider
  • Some providers send real-time webhook events
  • Others use virtual webhooks (typically checking for updates every 24 hours)
• Sync employee profile data including contact information, department, location, and custom fields
• Field-level visibility into raw incoming data
• Ability to control which data fields sync into RedFlag

Important Notes:

• Not all HRIS providers support true real-time updates.
• Some HRIS systems require additional configuration or permissions.

Azure AD Data Import

Sync recipients directly from Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory).

Features:

• Sync recipients directly from Microsoft Entra ID
• Supports custom and extension attributes
• Supports group syncing
• Nightly automated syncs to keep recipient data current

Best for organizations standardized on Microsoft identity infrastructure.

Paylocity

Import and sync employee data directly from Paylocity.

Features:

• Sync employee details such as department, cost centers, and shift
• Automated syncs to keep recipient data current
• Direct API integration 

sFTP

Securely upload and sync recipient data files from your internal systems.

Features:

• Ideal for organizations with structured HR exports
• Supports scheduled file delivery (daily, weekly, etc.)
• Nightly file pickups for automation
• Compatible with most HRIS platforms that support file exports

Recipient API

Programmatically manage recipients using RedFlag’s REST API.

Features:

• Add, update, or delete recipient records
• Integrate with your internal systems for real-time updates
• Secure authentication via API keys

Best for organizations with in-house development resources.

Microsoft Teams

Send RedFlag messages directly to recipients in Teams.

Features:

• Messages delivered within Microsoft Teams
• Teams ID stored on recipient profiles
• Works with GraphAPI email matching

Webhook

Trigger messages between RedFlag and external systems.

Features:

• Send RedFlag events to external platforms
• Trigger RedFlag messages from external systems
• Use secure RedFlag-generated access keys for authentication

Threat Intelligence CAP Feed

Monitor real-time threats through integrated CAP feeds.

Features:

• Automatically alert based on predefined rules and geographic areas
• Display weather, safety, and hazard alerts on the RedFlag map
• Enhance situational awareness for administrators

SSO (Single Sign-On)

RedFlag supports secure authentication integrations to streamline user access management.

Azure OpenID Connect SSO

• Enable secure, passwordless login for users via Microsoft Entra ID.
• Native OpenID Connect integration
• Enterprise app configuration
• Centralized user access control

SAML SSO

• Connect to any identity provider supporting SAML 2.0.
• Supports enterprise identity providers (Okta, Google, etc.)
• Customizable authentication flows
• Centralized credential management
