Recipient Verification Message

Overview

The Recipient Verification Message feature can be enabled for your location to help ensure that the recipients you are contacting are still the appropriate point of contact. This is especially useful for organizations messaging individuals whose roles may change frequently—such as retail tenant managers or franchise contacts.

Recipient Verification Messages are sent using the following delivery channels:

  • Text 1 and Text 2
  • Email 1 and Email 2

Each message includes a secure link for recipients to confirm or update their contact information. Responses can be tracked in your message report to identify outdated or unresponsive contacts.

Recipient Verification Message Setup

To configure the Recipient Verification Message:

  • Go to More > Setup > Recipient Verification Message.
  • Select the groups you want to receive the recurring message.
  • Choose the start date and time for when the first message should be sent.
  • Select the message frequency:
    • Quarterly
    • Half-Yearly
    • Yearly
  • Once a frequency is selected, the next scheduled message date will be displayed.
  • Click Save to activate the Recipient Verification Message.

🛡️ Note: After each message is sent, you can view delivery details and recipient responses in the Message Report.

Verification Message Preview

  • The preview area displays the message and polling response options that will be sent to your selected groups and at the scheduled time.
  • The message content can be updated by your Customer Success Manager.
  • The response options (polling buttons) are hardcoded and cannot be modified.

Editing or Canceling the Message

To make changes after saving:

  • Click Cancel Message to stop the current schedule.
  • Reconfigure the message by following the steps above.
